The recently adopted Housing Needs Analysis and Strategy included a strategy to create a data dashboard to track progress on housing goals. The Housing Study Dashboard is now live on the Neighborhood Services Department website and available for public viewing. There are four pages on the dashboard, covering:

• An introduction to the dashboard, including links to all other pages and the full Housing Needs Analysis and Strategy document;
• Housing Supply, which includes data on building permits, progress toward 7,000 housing units built by 2035, and residential vacancy rates;
• Housing Stability, covering data on rental costs, homeownership costs, cost burden, and foreclosure filings;
• Housing Strategies, with a table detailing all housing strategies included in the Housing Needs Analysis and Strategy.

The Housing Study Dashboard data will be updated quarterly. If you have any questions or suggestions for the dashboard, please contact neighborhoodservices@champaignil.gov.
